Welsh Sea Fish Industry Training Association
We are an industry led Group Training Association established in 1995 to assist
individuals and companies in the Seafish Industry to access relevant, cost
effective training to meet legal and industry requirements.
What do we do?
As a non-profit making organisation, we provide free, impartial help and advice
on training related matters to the catching, frying, processing and retail sectors
of the industry.
How do we do it?
We employ a training co-ordinator, based in our Llandeilo office to provide this
service. We work closely with  Seafish, the Industry Training Organisation (ITO)
for the Seafish Industry, and support its activities as an ITO.
How are we funded?
The Association receives grant support from the Industry Authority and
generates additional income to cover its costs by delivering training and
managing EU and Government funded training programmes.
What area do we cover?
We cover the whole of Wales being active in the North and West, South West
and South of the Country, which includes all the major fishing ports. We, also,
have responsibility for Retailers, Fryers and Processors wherever they are
located.
For further information or if we can help with any enquiries that you may have,
please do not hesitate to contact us by any of the following means.
